iPhone 18 Pro Colors: Which Case Suits Each Finish

Four Caselier phone cases for the iPhone 18 Pro on torn paper swatches over linen: a wine red case on a burgundy card, a pale blue striped case on an icy blue card, a silver glitter star case on a grey card, and a black and white warped checkerboard case on a black card, each with the phone's camera surround in the matching colour.
Case mockups are generated from our actual print files. The background and arrangement in this image were composed with AI.

Apple sells the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in four colours: Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy.

Put a Tough Case on either phone and its colour shows in one place only. That's the camera surround. It's a bigger patch than it sounds, because the camera housing spans the top of the phone, so whatever case you choose sits right next to it.

So below, for each finish, are the case colours and designs we'd pair with it. Every one is shown on the real iPhone 18 Pro case, with the camera surround in that finish. The rest of the range is in our iPhone 18 Pro cases and iPhone 18 Pro Max cases.

In Short

Burgundy suits a deep red for a tonal look, or pale blue and dark green if you want the camera to stand out. Glacier works with matching blues, butter yellow or chocolate brown. Silver and Black carry almost anything, loud prints included. And if a design is nearly right, most of ours can be recoloured on the product page to pick up your phone's colour.

Four ways to pair a case with an iPhone 18 Pro colour

There are four ways to go, depending on how much of the phone you want to see.

Show the colour off. A clear case keeps the whole finish visible. We don't make one. If that's what you're after, this is the one route where we're not the answer.

Match it. A case in the same colour family makes the phone read as one object, with the camera surround blending into the case around it.

Contrast it. A case in an opposite or unexpected colour turns the camera surround into a feature.

Let the design lead. Choose a print you'd want on any phone, and the finish becomes a small accent at the top of it.

The picks below are our own take on each finish, one or two from each approach. Every solid colour among them is from our Solid Colors range, which runs to more than 70 shades.

Cases for a Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro

Burgundy is the finish with the most going on, so it gets the most options. Two keep things tonal. Two go the other way.

Red Phone Case in Wine

The tonal choice. Wine is a shade warmer than the phone, so the two sit together as one deep red rather than as an exact copy of each other.

Warped Checkers in Red & White

Tonal, with a pattern. The red in this colourway prints deep enough to sit alongside the burgundy, and the cream squares keep it from getting heavy.

Blue Phone Case in Baby Blue

The softer contrast. Pale blue against dark red is soft and sharp at once, and the burgundy becomes a single block of colour at the top of the case.

Green Phone Case in Evergreen

The bolder contrast. Red and green sit opposite each other on the colour wheel, so a deep green makes the burgundy look richer rather than darker. In December it'll read a little festive, which may be exactly the point.

Cases for a Glacier iPhone 18 Pro

Glacier is pale, so almost anything darker will make it stand out. The more interesting choices are about temperature: stay cool with blue, or warm it up.

Classy Stripes in Light Blue

Tonal, but not flat. Pale blue bands with fine navy pinstripes pick up the camera surround without simply copying it, and the navy gives the whole thing an edge.

A plain pale butter yellow Caselier Tough Case on an iPhone 18 Pro, with the phone's light blue camera surround showing through the cutout.
Yellow Phone Case in Light Yellow

The warm pick. Both colours are soft, so neither one takes over, and the pale blue looks cleaner and cooler next to butter yellow than it does on its own.

Neutral Phone Case in Chocolate

The grown-up contrast. Dark brown makes the icy blue look deliberate, and it's the only pick for this finish that doesn't lean pastel.

Cases for a Silver iPhone 18 Pro

Silver has no colour of its own to clash with, which makes it the most forgiving finish of the four. You can echo it, or ignore it completely.

Glitter Star in Silver

An echo rather than a match. Silver-grey glitter around big white stars nods to the finish without trying to imitate metal in print.

Silver can carry the loudest colour you like. Hot pink is our example, but any strong shade in the range works the same way, with the silver surround as a cool break at the top.

Cases for a Black iPhone 18 Pro

Black is the easiest finish to pair. The camera surround disappears into anything dark and stands out against anything light, so the case can be as busy as you want.

Warped Checkers in Black & White

Both approaches at once. The black squares run into the camera surround and the white ones frame it, so the phone and case look like a single graphic.

The same goes for the rest of the range. A black phone is where a busy print works best. Nothing on the phone competes with it. Our Patterns collection is a good place to start.

Recolouring a design to match your iPhone 18 Pro

Most of our designs can be recoloured before you order, so you aren't limited to the colourways above. Open Customise on the product page. You can swap any colour in the design for another, type in an exact colour code, or shift the hue and saturation of the whole thing.

The same design as the Glacier pick above, with its blues swapped for wine and cream in Customise so it goes with a Burgundy phone instead.

If you're matching to the phone itself, pick the colour with the phone in front of you rather than from a photo online. These finishes shift a lot with lighting, and photos of the same phone rarely agree. The preview shows the result on your exact model before you buy. A screen and a printed case never match perfectly, though, so treat it as close rather than exact.

The one exception is The Gallery, our range of classical paintings, which is printed exactly as each artist painted it.

Putting your own photo on an iPhone 18 Pro case

You can also print your own picture on a Custom Phone Case and choose the iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max as your model. Upload a photo, or artwork you've made yourself.

If you'd like it to go with the phone, pick a picture with some of the finish already in it. A pale winter sky suits Glacier. Red brick or autumn leaves suit Burgundy. You see it on your exact phone before you pay, and every upload is enlarged automatically before it's printed. The one limit is that a very small or very low-quality image can't be fully rescued. There's a full walkthrough of how it works if you want the detail first.

Frequently asked questions

What colours does the iPhone 18 Pro come in?

Four: Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. The iPhone 18 Pro Max comes in the same four. Burgundy is new this year, and Apple describes Glacier as light blue.

Is Glacier blue or silver?

Blue. Apple calls it light blue, and it's a pale, cool shade. Silver is a neutral light grey with no blue in it, so the two look clearly different side by side.

Do iPhone 17 Pro cases fit the iPhone 18 Pro?

The bodies are the same size, 150.0 by 71.9 by 8.75 mm on both Pro models. But Apple says the cases aren't compatible, because the 18 Pro is slightly thicker at the camera, by about a tenth of a millimetre according to MacRumors. Some people report older cases fitting anyway. Our iPhone 18 Pro cases are made for the 18 Pro's camera.

Which case types can I get for the iPhone 18 Pro?

All four of ours: Snap, Tough, Tough with MagSafe and Wallet, for both the iPhone 18 Pro and the Pro Max. Every pairing in this post is shown on the Tough Case.
